I've watched the 40d dvd now. (Background .... I started serious film work at KFRE TV with a 16mm motion camera on a huge body-pod.) So when I say that I have not seen an instructional video so well focused on what the user really needs to know as yours, I've seen a few. Especially helpful are the graphics (rings around camera controls, lines/arrows pointing to the appropriate setting/control) that you included.

Thank you for the video, it is as I expected very good! What I find very interesting on the video being a relatively new to photography is where you have presented photographs then explained how you have put them together in composition. I have seen further examples within your forums, I for one would be interested in purchasing a further DVD should you decide in the future to put one together showing this more? I think like any thing there is a tool chest within everything we do and for me for sure seeing visually as an aspect of learning is much more inspiring! As I said prior, being new to being presented with a photo opportunity, the mind does start to wonder which settings! am I using the correct lens etc? any way I will continue to watch the DVD many more times in the mean time, and will continue to take your product reports for recommendations.

You definitely have a good way of presenting!! Keep it going!

I got my Canon 40D DVD today, very fast shipment. One thing I have to say about your video is WOW !!! Not only do you explain how to use the camera but you go out of your way to explain it in detail. Plus on top of that you explain how to take great photos in a very clear, detailed manner. It's like I'm taking a photography class- for the price I paid for this video it is a steal. With the information I have learned so far it would have easily cost me $100 or more if I went to a photography class and I'm not even done looking through your video!

Just wanted to tell you that the Canon 40D Crash Course DVD totally Roxxs!!! It really help me alot on these few subjects:

1) The Menu Section (No more going thru those thick complicated manuals)

2) Potrait Crash Course (It really helps me alot in taking great pictures. Great Tips)

3) All the classroom sections (Some of it is basic but sometimes it helps us get back and strengtened those foundations with we overlooked sometimes)

Overall, it was fantastic, the details were totally out of this world.

I received my copy of the Canon 40D Crash Course in the mail yesterday. There is nothing that I can say except WOW, it’s awesome. Thanks very much for all your effort and time in putting this together for all us Newbie’s. I sat up until midnight last night totally fixed on the TV watching it. It's so straight forward and easy to follow anyone at all can follow it and learn all about the functions of their new Camera.

I will be getting my 40D on the 3rd July and know I will have watched your DVD a number of times before then so I will be more than ready to start snapping when I get it. Your forum is the first time I have used a website like this and I'm hooked. I have learnt so much from using your forum every time I think of questions to ask I look at the threads and there it is my question already asked and answered for me.
